DAV College Bathinda has always been cognisant of its role in imparting quality education to the youth in the country. Keeping in tandem thus, Internal Quality Assurance Cell has been constituted in accordance with the NAAC guidelines and the existing academic and administrative system of the college.

Activities
DAV College, Bathinda since its inception has been encouraging its faculty members to update themselves professionally through organizational structural support and human resource developmental programmes. IQAC of the college considers professional development programmes to be a critical component for appraising the teachers of how the learning field is shaping and evolving. IQAC in association with different departments organized several programmes within the college to update teachers with the advancements happening in their respective fields of teaching-learning.

DAV College Bathinda organised Lectures on “Cyber Crime and Cyber Security”.(03.03.2025)
The Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with IQAC, IIC and Senior Citizen Brotherhood, Bathinda organized a lecture on “Cybercrime and Cyber Security” for senior citizens and the students of the college The lectures were delivered by Dr. Shishpal Jindal, DAV College Bathinda , Sh. Gagandeep Gill , Cyber Cell Punjab Police Bathinda, Sh. Ashutosh Kumar, RM, SBI Bathinda, and Sh. Ashok Kumra, DGM (Retd.), SBI Bathinda.
The primary objective of organising the lecture was to raise awareness about the increasing number of frauds occurring through the internet in our daily lives. Several key topics were covered during the session, including the definition of cybercrime, the dark web, common indicators of malware infections, and the importance of various government initiatives like Chaksu, Cyberdost, Sancharsathi, and Taf-Cop. Additional subjects like dangerous apps, virtual phone numbers, and masked Aadhar cards were also discussed.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Principal Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Registrar Dr. Satish Grover, Coordinator IIC & HoD of Computer Science Dr. Vandana Jindal, Coordinator IQAC Dr. Pawan Kumar, Patron, Senior Citizen Brotherhood Prof. Ashok Gupta, President, Senior Citizen Brotherhood Sh. DAV College Bathinda Hosts Expert Lecture on “Fitness for Elderly/Older Adults”.(23.01.2025)
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Intuition’s Innovation Council (IIC) of DAV College, Bathinda, organized an expert lecture on “Fitness for Elderly/Older Adults” by Dr. Rati, a renowned Physiotherapist, Educator, and Healthcare Provider certified by the Ministry of Education, Canada.
The lecture, held on 23-1-2025 was attended by senior citizens from the Senior Citizens Brotherhood, Bathinda, and faculty members of DAV College Bathinda.Vice Principal Prof. Parveen Kumar Garg, Registrar Dr. Satish Grover, Incharge IIC and Head, Department of Computer Science Dr. Vandana Jindal, Incharge IQAC Dr. Pawan Kumar graced the occasion.
Prof. Parveen Kumar welcomed the speaker, Dr. Rati and the members of Senior Citizens Brotherhood along with Mr. Ashok Kamara President Senior Citizens Brotherhood, Sh. N.M. Bansal, Vice-President, Prof. AK Gupta Patron, Sh. Rattan Lal Garg, Secretary, Sh. Ashwani Berry Officiating Cashier and Mr. M.R. Jindal, Press Secretary of Senior Citizens Brotherhood Club.
Dr. Rishm conducted the stage proceedings. Dr. Rati shared her expertise on exercise routines, fall prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications that can improve the overall health and well-being of the seniors.
The audience actively participated in the Q&A session, seeking guidance on managing age-related health issues. Dr. Rati emphasized the importance of regular exercise, social engagement, and mental stimulation in preventing chronic diseases and improving quality of life among older adults.
Mr. Ashok Kamara, President, Senior Citizens Brotherhood, and Prof. A.K Gupta expressed gratitude to Dr. Rati for sharing her knowledge and expertise with the community.
The event was a huge success, The Principal of the College Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma praised the efforts of IIC & IQAC of DAV College, Bathinda and wished for organization of more such lectures and workshops in the future.
DAV College Bathinda organized ‘Free Diagnostic Eye Testing and Health Checkup Camp’. (26.09.2024)
On September 26, 2024 NSS Department, Red Ribbon Club and Student Welfare Department, Institute’s Innovation Council and Internal Quality Assurance Cell of DAV College Bathinda organised a Free Diagnostic Eye Testing Camp and a Health Check-up Camp for staff members and students. The eye testing camp was organised in association with SD Mahabir Dal Hospital, Bathinda. Health checkup camp was organised in collaboration with Lifeline Charitable Lab, Bathinda.

Dr. Sanya Garg, Eye specialist, Optical Phaco and Lasik Surgeon, Medical and Retina Specialist working in Mahabir Dal Hospital visited for all Eye related problems. Mr. Jaspal Mehta, Dr. Risham (working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer, DAV College Bathinda) and Mr. Bharat Bhushan Khushreja from the Lifeline Charitable Lab Bathinda provided their services for this medical camp at concessional rate. Around 150 students and staff members of the college availed the benefits of this camp.
