    Research Experience:

    1. Worked on organic synthesis and hydride shifts under the guidance of Dr. Tejvir Singh during the master’s research program.
    2. Doctoral research (under the guidance of Prof. S.K. Mehta) was focused on design and optimization of pharmaceutically accepted formulations of mixed micelles and niosomes for the encapsulation of both hydrophobic and water labile drugs.

    Academic Awards/Medals received

    1. Awarded best poster prize in the the Indo-German Bilateral Workshop organized by Department of Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh from March 20-22, 2014.
    2. Awarded Senior Research Fellowship (CSIR-open).
    3. Awarded CSIR research project fellowship w.e.f June 2009.
    4. Awarded Durga Devi Ram Dass Merit Scholarship for 3 years (2003-2006) for being the CET Topper of the Chemistry Department, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

    Laboratory Techniques:

Gained experience in Fluorescence, UV-vis absorption spectroscopy, IR, 1H-NMR, Column Chromatography, Cyclic Voltammetry, Scanning Calorimeter, Thermogravimetric Analyzer, Particle Size analyzer, Density and speed analyzer, zetasizer, Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopy, and other general lab techniques.
