  • Celebration of Golden Jubilee of 1971 War: To commemorate 50 years of the 1971 war and mark 2021 as ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ (golden victory year), the “Victory Flame” traversing the country as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the 1971 Indo-Pak war victory, was brought to DAV College Bathinda by the Indian Army in collaboration with the district administration.

  • The Department of Computer Sciences and the Department of Mathematics organized a SERB-DST sponsored National Conference on “Computational Techniques And Mathematical Modelling”. Financial assistance of Rs. 75,000 was sanctioned for the event.  (12.03. 2022)
  • Alumni Meet of those serving as school teachers organised (12.03. 2022).
  • Department of Economics, in collaboration with All India Radio, Bathinda organized Slogan Writing competition on the theme of War v/s Peace. Mr. Mandeep Rajora, Akashvani Program producer, Bathinda was the guest of the day. Forty students participated in this slogan writing fest. (09.03.2022)

  • The Departments of Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Botany and Zoology) organized a SERB-DST DBT Sponsored Multi-Disciplinary National Conference on “Recent Advances in Science & Technology for Sustainable Development”. Grant of Rs. 50,000 was sanctioned for the event (05.03. 2022).
  • National Science Day celebrated on the theme “Integrated Approach in Science & Technology for Sustainable Future”sponsored by Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, NCSTC and DST.On this occasion various events like lecture, slide show, Quiz Competition and Poster competition were organised.The Chief Guest and the resource person on the occasion was Dr. Rajeev Kumar Answal, Department of Environment Studies, Punjab University, Chandigarh.
